In the 1980’s, Closwa Biltong exported biltong to Europe.  The biltong was packed in sealed cans and sold in a number of European countries.

Today after almost 3 decades we are again exporting our favourite product lines to the European Union.

Why Closwa's Biltong

Seventy percent of Namibian produced cattle is slaughtered relatively young, ensuring tender and juicy meat while slaughtering is done under strict, neat and hygienic conditions.  Namibia, a country of unrivalled natural beauty and sun-drenched wide open spaces creates the ideal environment to produce healthy game and beef biltong, our national delicacy.  Since the hunters of days gone by, the natural approach to pure biltong from free ranging animals was not minimised by the advances in technology and hygiene.  The aromatic meat enhanced by selected natural spices will give you the outstanding fresh taste of excellence and purity in our product.  Natures Best!  Coupled with proven Old Time recipes, modern processing and packing ensure that you get ONLY THE BEST!
